Information

Introduction

We are owners in residence and offer bed and breakfast.

We have been awarded five stars (the highest achievable) by Mid Suffolk Environmental Health for our standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

This is a rural property and does not have particular facilities for people with mobility, hearing or visual impairments.

We can provide maps and details of the area for places to visit and eat, also taxi and community bus services. 

If you need to use your laptop, we have high speed, wireless, internet access.

 

Arrival

We have ample covered parking and security lighting and can offer help with cases if necessary. Motorcyclists are welcome.

The main entrance and reception area is through the front door which has a small step.  The owner is always contactable by mobile telephone if not in the house.

The public areas, hall, stairs, landing etc are all well lit and the stairs are carpeted and there is a handrail.  The upper landing floor leans in one direction as can be expected with a property of the 16th century.  There is a step up to the guest landing.

The public areas, sitting room and conservatory are well lit and comfortably furnished and there is a low step into each room.

There are no public toilets available.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory by the owner.

The house is non smoking.

There is a clear emergency procedure in each room.

There is no public telephone but guests may use the house telephone if necessary.
